During skype-conference that took place at the UCCI within working session of Ukrainian-Slovenian business council entrepreneurs of both countries had a chance to find new business connections, exchange information about important cooperation directions and discuss ongoing situation on markets of Ukraine and Slovenia and
Ukraine was represented by grain exporters, textile and haberdashery materials manufacturers, companies that provide services to the grain terminal, consulting services etc.
Beside entrepreneurs in conference participated Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia, Mykhailo Brodovych, Economic Counselor of the Embassy of Slovenia in Ukraine, Taras Prytula and head of the Ukrainian part of Ukrainian-Slovenian council for business, Oleg Rogoza.
“The main goal of Skype-Conference is to help entrepreneurs set mutually advantageous contacts without spending extra funds and time for organizing a business meeting. The Council, for its part, is ready to maximally facilitate cooperative relations between Ukrainian and Slovenian business, and comprehensively defend the interests of Slovenian of Companies that wish to co-operate with Ukraine», – said vice-president of UCCI Valeriy Korol.
With creation of bilateral business council, we have put another brick into the foundation of productive cooperation between Ukraine and Slovenia.
«Thanks to today`s Conference entrepreneurs interested in entering Slovenian market, have opportunity to discuss practical issues, evaluate the development of trade and economic cooperation between Slovenia Ukraine and its prospects», – emphasizes Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia, Mykhailo Brodovych.
The Ambassador also announced Ukrainian-Slovenian business forum, which will take place within Slovenia visit of President of Ukraine at the end of March.
To foreground and mutually beneficial directions of cooperation between Ukraine and Slovenia could be attributed areas of agriculture, energy-saving, IT-technologies, tourism, transport, wood, automotive industry, engineering.
Despite the fact that last two years have been difficult for Ukraine`s economy, trade and economic relations between Slovenia and Ukraine are developing quite dynamically.
Last year export of Ukrainian goods to Slovenia increased by 21,4% and amounted 12.6 mln. USD.
Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia meets Žito Group Board President
Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Slovenia M. Brodovych met with the Board President of Žito Group – Ya. Boyts to discuss opportunities of enhancing trading activities with Ukrainian agribusiness companies, including Ltd. “TD Dnipryany” Holding “Clever Agro”, whose interests during the meeting were represented by the owner and board member – S. Nadtochiy.
Since the company Žito Group is part of Ukrainian-Slovenian business council, the meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Ukrainian part of Ukrainian-Slovenian Business Council – O.Rogoza.
At the meeting participants also discussed in detail the possibility of Žito Group entering Ukrainian market with the aim to attract Ukrainian-Slovenian business council.
